Walking: Wyrley & Essington Canal under snow - Bloxwich, via Pelsall to Cannock
From Leamore to the Turf island on the A5, is a lovely canal walk, giving both urban & truly rural elements.
It is weird to come to the culmination of a canal. A great, noisy, bench sits at the end of the Cannock extension. Wander over the A5 to the Turf Tavern & try one of their surprisingly good, & massive, Yorkie Wraps.
