Walking: Caer Caradoc, Church Stretton

 

Lazy morning... we had big brekkie, & set off after lunch.

Turned out to be a great idea... so close for a v big walk!

My life partner came part way up the south end of Caradoc, then told me to go fk off & walk the rest of the bastard on my own - dragged me (in shorts) into nettles!

Getting up all but killed my lungs... amazing views at 459m mind!

Spent a couple of days walking high ground east of All Stretton... if you look very closely, you can just see a white van alongside a green Quasar!

We'm gonna walk'em! Off we go...

A beautiful afternoon... & we'd only popped out for an hours 'leg-stretch'... four-&-a-half hours later, it was dark when we got to the pub! Knackering, we really earned those beers!

Walked to the north of The Lawley... seemed a good idea to womble over the top! At 377m, not a hill to womble across. Yomp? Wonderful light!
