Walking: Far de Cap Gros

A lovely wander through the olive groves....

lotsa exercise, up they big, terraced hills...

& I didn't photograph the bloody lighthouse!

Walking: Torre Picada

A bright, warm, oh-so-lovely day... shirtsleeves & shorts!

Coffee & ensaimada on the beach cranks the engine into life...

then 'ho, for the hills'

(well, back up the hill... then some more hill!)

Not far, but a good stretch... & very pretty going!

Terraced olive groves up the wazoo, of course!...

new to me beyond the confines of classical tales...

but, a rather joyous human landscape!

 

Mallorca: forced to forrin'

A rather cheeky fait accompli

got me on a plane to Palma...

look on this weather & weep you damp northern squibs!

Toutatis was a good'un!

Then it rained, & we caught the wee wooden train...

as we climbed into the cold, damp hills the windows misted up... 

woulda been better (& a damn sight cheaper) on the bus!

Puerta de Soller balcony view... nice, eh?
