Walking: Worcs & Brum Canal
Back in November, we went to watch England’s Red Roses tonk US Eagles 89 - 0 at Sixways. England were stunning: fit; disciplined; bang on with their basics; well-drilled in both attack & defence. But the Yanks never gave up: hugely outclassed in skills & tactics, they were dogged, enthusiastic, & supportive of each other to the (bitter) end. 2021 was a great year (a turning point?) for women’s rugby union…
go watch some.
Anyway, we had an hour or so to kill before the game, so dropped onto the Worcester & Birmingham Canal for a wee walk… lovely!

Busted 'puter means I'm behind: Worcs, Shrewsbury, some other crap.
For now, a lovely local New Year stroll...
& a 5-or-so miler, north out of Shifnal,
then a pint o'Pig at The Anvil!
