Walking: Shottisham, the Deben, & Sutton circular
Hit the Deben, then turn north...
swing east, & aim for Sutton...
some lovely beer, then a goodish stagger back!
St Neots - on the way to Suffolk
Decided to break our journey to Shottisham
- the fkn A14 is interminable!
Gotta say the CCC campsite doesn't disappoint; 15 minutes walk to the pub...
Just overnight: we did take a wander & a gant at St Mary the Virgin,
the parish church... very nice it is too.
Beautiful series of stained-glass windows - second half of the 19th century -
& marvellous carvings throughout...

Then we found a decent local, followed by a rather lovely kebab!
