Now, that was a fine night out...

 

Walking: off 2cEva - to the coast!

(I didn't take this'un... but I really like it!)

Walking: off 2cEva - down the pub!

 

It was a lovely day from the start...

(much bacon & sausage can be scarfed via inclusive breakfast!)

a wander along the quayside, up Ouseburn, to the Ship Inn

& a rather lovely family lunch!

Then we kidnapped the lovely for a wee while...

&, enjoying the sights,

pounded a fair bit o'concrete...

to meet a bit later at the sun-drenched pub.

Hugging goodbye in the Ouseburn streets was weird...

but the evening walk to the hotel was fantastic - to the point of no pub!

Yeah, I know, this first one ain't Newcastle...

but it is on the way to the Newcastle train!

And then the Hot 8 at Wylam Brewery!

Walking: short wander along the Trent & Mersey at Salt

 

Another lovely afternoon...

a linear stroll along the towpath to Weston...

8hr Slow Roast Ox-cheek at the Holly Bush was magnificent...

they denied me the Roast Pork Belly for dessert.

I shall return!

This is the adolescent River Trent at Salt...

the Trent Valley is generally beautiful!
