Walking: Ightham Mote

Fancied a bit of a longer stroll... thro' Styants Wood,

along Kent's byways & lanes... more hilly than anticipated...

The lovely St Lawrence church at Stone Street...

We did get to Ightham Mote. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon,

so much of the population of the south-east were visiting!

There is a major refurb & refit ongoing!

We had a mofo of a falling-out!

We had a lovely ice cream.

We went to the pub!

A lovely walk, but not a great day!

Walking: Oldbury Hill

Lovely NT campsite alongside Oldbury Camp, Ightham, Kent...

Plenty of walking straight from the site...

25 minutes walk to the Old House at Ightham,

best pub I've been to in many a year: gravity fed tap-room,

pickled eggs, salty snacks, chat, & beer!

The late wet was well worth it!
