Walking: Ironbridge & Coalbrookdale

A couple of days around Ironbridge & Coalbrookdale; a quiet, comfy, campsite with beautiful views (Irongorge Camping) - 15mins from the rather lovely Coalbrookdale Inn, a 20min fieldpath stroll from the town.

St Lukes church, high on the Lincoln Hill.

One of 2 shots of the bridge... atypical, I think!

 Holy Trinity, Coalbrookdale...

Honestly, you really must visit this campsite, 'tis lovely & laid back in every way!

The walk from Irongorge to Ironbridge, along green country footpaths, is a joy.

Wonderful buildings all over the place; must get back for a proper gant!

Beautiful countryside & views all around... not too busy away from roads!

A shedload of work ensures good, safe access, & walking all across the area; The Severn Gorge Countryside Trust deserve major plaudits.

If it's your thing, heritage, history, & museums abound... for me, the Woodside Community Orchard, Coalbrookdale, is one of my favourite things...

The second shot including the bridge... it's somewhere in there...

 We'll be back... very soon!
