Walking: Kingsbury

As the beer-drinker had buggered a trotter, Flamborough (on the way back from the north-east) was no longer a good option.  So, home we came, grabbed a change o'clothes, a few other necessities, a bit of shopping, then off to an overnight camp in north Warwickshire...

Kingsbury Water Park is maybe 20 mls to the east of us... 600 acres of pools, trees, & walking.  A great CCC campsite.  A couple of fine walks in afternoon & evening.

The only down side, & quite significant for a tent-sleeper - after she moaned like a fkr, I shoved Jude & her achey trotters into the back of the van - was the M42.  The motoway dissects the park, & at night there was little surcease of the whine of the internal combustion engine... that night cargo flights were taking off overhead also  did not help promote somnolence!

... mind you, half a bott o'Shiraz, a couple o'massive Irishes, & I slept like a baby!
