After a fantastic full English at the Barn at Beal (very reasonable, I thought)
we drove onto Holy Island... which was rather too much like Blackpool!
So many people... so many vehicles... so many us!
Went to Bamburgh as we shifted south to Warkworth...
'twas the day of the Bamburgh 10k...
'twas Blackpool again!
Lovely beaches, dunes, but walk away from the castle & village,
& you will get space & time pretty much for oneself!
Perhaps I don't like folk so much...
Then, the most English thing I have ever seen
... & I've seen Morris more than once!
